What happens in a consultation?

Consultations are completed by video call with a prescribing clinician.

During the call, you’ll be asked to stand in full frame view of your camera device, and then weigh yourself on video. This allows the clinician to confirm that the height and weight you’ve given is correct.

You’ll then sit down together and discuss how to use the pen, what you hope to gain from using weight-loss medicines and how to use them safely. You’ll also talk through:

  • Your current lifestyle

  • Diet and nutrition

  • Exercise and fitness

  • Habit-building

These skills are essential to ensure your weight-loss is safe, efficient and prolonged when you stop taking the medicine.

Treatments We Offer

  • Mounjaro (Tirzepatide)

A once-weekly injection for weight management that acts on two appetite-regulating hormone pathways (GIP and GLP-1) to reduce hunger and support meaningful weight loss. It can also improve blood-sugar control and is licensed for type 2 diabetes in some settings, depending on the product indication.

  • Wegovy (Semaglutide)

A once-weekly GLP-1 injection for weight management that reduces appetite, helps you feel fuller sooner, and supports sustained weight loss alongside diet and activity changes. It’s specifically licensed for weight management (distinct from Ozempic, which is indicated for type 2 diabetes).
