Aster is an online weight management service and programme. We offer remote video consultations with personalised advice on lifestyle, exercise and nutrition - medicinal weight management works better long-term with these changes.
Our goal is simple: make weight management accessible, affordable and easy. No subscriptions - you order your medicine each month, complete a check-in and consultation if necessary, and receive it in the post.
Aster was founded and launched in 2026 by Pharmacy Clinic Edinburgh, a GPhC-registered pharmacy.

Vicky Kelidou
Director, Clinical Pharmacist, Independent Prescriber, Clinical LeadVicky is the founder and superintendent pharmacist behind Aster, Pharmacy Clinic Edinburgh and Arcadia Health Clinic. She is an independent prescriber with an MPharm and MSc from Oxford, with a strong focus on safe, thoughtful and personalised patient care. Through her work across private pharmacy and online clinical services, she has built a reputation for combining clinical expertise with a calm, practical approach that helps patients feel supported, informed and looked after at every step.
Sally Proudman
Operations ManagerSally leads operations, patient experience and digital delivery across Aster. With a background in pharmacy operations, service development and online systems, she plays a key role in making sure the patient journey feels smooth, supportive and well organised from start to finish. Her focus is on creating a service that is clear, accessible and genuinely helpful, while ensuring the behind-the-scenes structure is strong enough to support safe, high-quality care.
Stelios Michailidis
Clinical Pharmacist, Independent PrescriberStelios is a clinical pharmacist and prescriber, known for his kind manner and ability to put patients at ease.
Stelios also has extensive experience providing weight management services and focuses on clear goal-setting and patient safety.
Alongside his work at Aster, he also specialises in ophthalmology and travel health.
